Hawaii is ready to welcome you back into your next vacation. There are some testing requirements that you need to get through, but it will help eliminate any quarantine restrictions if you follow the guidelines.
Get the Latest Information
All travelers must fill out the Safe Travels Program online prior to coming to Hawaii. The form generates a unique QR code that you will present upon arrival at the airport with all your information.
This program will allow visitors to come into Hawaii, show a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72-hours of departure, to avoid the state’s 14-day mandatory quarantine.
Tests will be offered at American Family Care Urgent Care, Carbon Health, CityHealth Urgent Care, Color, CVS Health, Hawaiian Airlines, Kaiser Permanente, Quest Diagnostics, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Vault Health, and Walgreens — will be valid.
The test must be from a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified laboratory and taken within 72 hours of the visitor’s last leg of their trip as part of the agreement the companies made with Hawaii and will reportedly cost about $140 per traveler. Hawaii will release more details about how it will register each tourist’s test in the state’s effort to balance tourism and safety.
